Networking

The Network and Infrastructure team is responsible for the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of campus-wide network infrastructure. The Network Engineers ensure that students, faculty, and staff have access to the internet via both wired and wireless infrastructure. 

This team also has one position devoted to GIS [Geographic Information Systems], GPS [Global Positioning System], CAD [Computer Assisted Drafting], and IMS [Internet Mapping Services].   Architectural drawings are edited in AutoCAD to accurately represent the position of Network Communication Closets, network wiring, network I/O ports, wireless access points, and other information technology infrastructure within buildings.
