The Florida A & M University Alfred Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center Teaching Gymnasium was built with Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) funds and was inaugurated in April of 2009. It is the home of the FAMU College of Education's Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
Lee Hall was built on the highest hill in Tallahassee, Florida in 1928. A $4.3 million remodeling job on the facility was completed in time for a rededication ceremony in April, 1993.
Graced with ambience and southern charm, the Florida A & M University Activity Center is an Education & General Services facility with the mission of providing meeting space for FAMU departments and small official FAMU events. It is located at 2412 South Adams Street in Tallahassee.
The Florida A & M University Jake Gaither Gymnasium was completed in 1987 and has been the center of FAMU educational, athletics, and cultural activities for decades. Its primary operations are funded by the FAMU E&G budget.
